Anatomy Scan

Friday was our anatomy scan. Baby Miller is definitely a boy, and everything looks great! He was 12 ounces which put him in the 37th percentile. Heart rate was a nice, strong 161 beats per minute (and the heart has four chambers!!!). As of right now he is breech, but there's plenty of time for him to turn around so we're not too worried about that at this point. He must be strong because despite an anterior placenta, I have been feeling movement fairly regularly since 18 weeks. He looked like a very active dude, although he really likes hanging out behind my right hipbone. I always feel movement in the same spot. His arms and legs were all over the place, and we could see his mouth and tongue moving. He even started sucking his thumb at the end of the scan! Cooperative baby for measurements but did not want a profile shot taken - that took awhile to get :) We are thrilled that everything looks great and can't wait to meet our little man in only a few months!
