Kellen James is 1!

I still can't really believe it...Kellen is 1! What a smile-filled year it has been with this handsome young man in our lives! He is such a joy.

We had cake (and presents) with Gramma, Papa, Grandpa Jeff, Grandma Nancy, Auntie Kon, and Ryan on Kellen's birthday. 

He got his personalized chair from Gramma and Papa (plus a puzzle and some clothes) and a ride-on truck, a Tonka dump truck, a ball, puzzles, some cars, and a bunch of books from Mommy, Daddy, and Ellison!

The cake was chocolate and once again, the K man made quite a mess!

We had pictures today and tomorrow both kids have their pediatrician appointments - say a prayer that we survive that experience!

Under the Sea Birthday Bash

After months of planning, many hours spent making decorations, and more stress than I should admit...the kids' "Under the Sea" birthday party is over! The decorations turned out great, the food was yummy, and it seemed like everyone had a good time. I'm glad we did a combined party because I don't think I could have handled operating at that stress level much longer...

The cake was once again made by a fabulous young lady named Jenna, and it was delicious. I made Kellen's smash cake...and he definitely did smash it! He needed a bath mid-party!!!

The kids got some wonderful gifts - including a big girl bike for Ellison! She was so excited and has been trying to ride it in the house :)
