19 Months Old!

It's only been a few days since my last post so I don't have too much new...other than Ells is 19 months old today! Does that mean it's time to start planning her 2nd birthday party? It seems like she just turned 1!

It took awhile, but the word "no" has entered E's vocabulary and has been one of her favorites this past week. I do not like that word at all right now! Hard to keep up with the "word list" but it's around 140 words now. Usually I forget to add new ones until she's been saying them for a few days. It's getting hard to keep track so I'm sure I won't for much longer! More combinations lately...big girl, mommy keys, daddy hat, and so on!

Teething is back yet again...#15 and #16 are on their way in. These are her first teeth to come in since we stopped giving her the pacifier at night so Jay said she had a harder time soothing herself to sleep over the weekend. But it seems to be improving already, and she doesn't have too many teeth to go after these!

All the sudden it's freezing outside! I had to take tags off all E's fall/winter clothes and quick get everything washed. It will be interesting getting her dressed this fall. She is too tall for 12 month pants but the next size up is huge. 18 month shirts are baggy but barely long enough so I will probably have to buy some 24 month ones, which will be even baggier. She's probably going to look like she borrowed my clothes! Sweet little peanut!

Ells has been playing an alphabet/animal computer game and is loving it. She loves repeating the animals after the computer says the names. Sometimes she repeats the letters, too. Rumor has it she has also gone and picked out some of the letters from the fridge after the games says them, but I haven't seen that with my own eyes yet!

Ellison's favorite new toy is a Cars tent she got at Ama & Papa's work picnic. She has been hiding out in there with her toys and I think she would sleep in the tent if we let her!

That's about it for updates. House is still a work in progress but the cars will fit into the garage soon! 16 week checkup for baby #2 today and a 3D/4D ultrasound at GE next week!!!

Our crazy future gymnast/cheerleader!
