Back Track...Valentine's Day

I didn't do a post about Valentine's Day, so I figured I would throw up a few pictures since Ellison looked so very adorable! She had several different Valentine's outfits that we spread out over a week or so. We didn't do anything crazy to celebrate...she got a rose from Daddy, and a couple small gifts from the two of us (a new book and a little stuffed elephant). She got her Valentine gifts from Gramma Janis and Grampa Ron about a week before (including a cool Little People Valentine playset and some of her Valentine outfits), and a present from Auntie Kon at her birthday party. We also got a very awesome homemade Valentine from our nephew Logan at the party (and some candy!).

I helped Ellison make Valentine's for Daddy, grandparents and great grandparents while Jay was at work.

Proud to say I did not steal this idea from Pinterest, I actually came up with it on my own!

Mommy and Ells both got flowers from Daddy!
Here's a few more from on and around Valentine's Day in her festive attire...

I also wanted to share a couple pictures from the weekend before Ellison's birthday, when she wore her Greendale cheerleader outfit to support her favorite squad, who were competing at UCA Nationals in Florida! They got 4th place! Sadly I did not get to take her to any competitions this year, because they always seemed to fall on weekends I had to work...hopefully next year the cute little outfit will still fit her!

Here are her cheerleader poses!

Ells has decided that she likes to carry her bottle around with no hands!

She has been working on getting herself to a standing position...what a big girl! So far she is stuck at this point.
