Kellen (K-Man, Bubba, Bubby) is 18 months old! This has been such a fast year and a half. Next week he has his 18 month pediatrician appointment, so no stats yet, but he is definitely gaining on Ellison weight-wise! He has 16 teeth. He wears 12 month shorts, 18 month pants, 18 or 24 month shirts, size 5 or 5.5 in shoes, and size 4 diapers. He is growing into such a handsome little man - big blue eyes, the blondest hair, and the BEST smile!
He loves playing with cars and trains, looking at books, and coloring. He still carries his "wubby" around everywhere. Playing outside is one of his favorite things - he loves to swing, throw balls, and climb like a little monkey! His favorite foods are yogurt, noodles, cheese, and applesauce. He absolutely loves milk and goes charging for the drying rack where the sippy cups are as soon as he wakes up in the morning! He loves animals (especially dogs!). And he absolutely adores his big sister. He just started saying her name and it's the cutest thing ever!
Besides his favorite foods, he doesn't like to eat much else lately. A lot of his food ends up on the floor! He also doesn't really like napping much these days. We've been struggling with those 2 things, especially the eating. He used to be such a good eater, so it's been tough to see him eat fewer and fewer foods!
Kellen talks A LOT. He says so many words now that I am having a hard time keeping track. He also says some 2 and 3 word phrases (here you go, all done, thank you, watch out, let's see). He can follow directions, so he also understands a lot! It is so much fun watching him learn new things every day! He folds his hands to say prayers with us and will sometimes say "amen" at the end. So cute! He copies a lot of things Ellison does, which is sometimes good and sometimes not so good...

It's hard to believe in only half a year he will be 2!
