Miller Time: February!

I wish I had a good picture from the ultrasound I had done at 34 weeks, but baby boy did not want to show his face. Major bummer. I was really looking forward to seeing him again, but I guess we only have about a month until he is here!

Major discovery during the ultrasound was that baby is breech. I really had no idea - I had asked my doctor at the previous appointment and she couldn't tell me for sure. I am not one of those people who can tell which body part is hitting me where! I guess the hard spot I always feel up near my ribs is his head. He is tucked up there pretty well. I had seen my doctor the day before the ultrasound (they were supposed to be the same day but US got rescheduled) so I haven't talked to my doctor yet about a plan if baby doesn't flip by then. I'm very nervous because I absolutely do NOT want a C-section! Should know more soon, my 36 week appointment is in a few days!

We made a lot of progress on the nursery and baby prep the last couple of weekends! We did some shopping for boy stuff last week. The room is now carpeted with furniture in place and finishing touches like decorations on the walls are being added. Crib is all made up, pads for swing and bouncer are cleaned, clothes are washed and put away. I was so worried we wouldn't be ready, but the room really looks awesome! Car seat bases should be installed within the next couple days and I'm working on packing for the hospital. We are getting very excited!

We took Ellison to Build-A-Bear this weekend to make a "buddy" for baby brother. She has a million buddies, but he didn't have any yet! She made him a monkey that we named "Ham" (baby's nickname) and she also got a lion for herself ("Foz", her name for the Wizard of Oz). She had fun helping make the buddies, and they both got Packer uniforms to wear. She wanted "a lotta buddies" so it was hard to convince her she couldn't take them all home!

Other big thing going on is finishing preparing for E's birthday party - less than 2 weeks away! It should be interesting fitting everyone into our house, but we managed last year in our townhouse so I think it will be ok. I have been working on a couple little things on my Cricut, but nothing crazy like last year. We've got a plan for cake, a plan for balloons, and a basic plan for food. Ellison's outfit is adorable and I can't wait for her to wear it! Now I just have to work on adjusting to the fact that she is going to be TWO (!) and a big sister...
