16 Months Old!

I already wrote about most of Ellison's new words and tricks last week, so this post will mostly be pictures. I definitely can't believe she is 16 months old, with such a big personality! She does have a few new words this week...she has started saying puppies, chair, hi, and calling me "mummy", which is pretty funny!

Father's Day was yesterday and we were lucky enough that both Jay and I had off, so we got to spend the day in Manitowoc with the Millers. It was nice that it was finally summery weather out, too! Ellison loves playing outside and loves being with her cousins, so she had so much fun! She especially loved smothering her little cousin Olivia with kisses...so adorable :)

Here's Ellison's Father's Day projects for Jay...can't post the grandpa/great grandpa cards yet since some still have to be distributed. We also have a couple Mother's Day cards to give out...oops. We made a tray for Jay to hold all his grilling stuff (thanks to Katy Patten for the idea!), a handprint canvas to hang on the wall, and a Shutterfly photo book full of pictures of Ellison and her beloved "dada". She is definitely a daddy's girl and would love nothing more than to hang out by the grill with him all day long!

We were supposed to get new family pictures taken last weekend but had to reschedule due to the weather. Hopefully the next date will work out, and the outfit Ellison was supposed to wear will still fit. It is for a fundraiser for the school at our church, and I loved how the pictures turned out last year so we are looking forward to good ones again!

Here's some more pictures...

  1. Current favorite picture is definitely the one where she is holding the bat. :)
