Hello Summer!

Haven't had time to write a blog in awhile...Miss Ellison and work are keeping me busy! We have either been out of town or working the past few weekends, so not much time to sit down and write!

Here's what we've been up to!
We went up to the Miller cabin for a few days at the beginning of June. It was a quiet weekend, just us and Mom and Dad Miller, and we just spent some time hanging out and eating yummy food!

Our attempt to take a family photo by the lake...Ellison wasn't thrilled!

Daddy's girl!

We were in Manitowoc for Jay's first Father's Day last weekend. Ellison and I made him a "cake" that consisted of wine, beer, beef sticks, and almonds and gave it to him before we left on Friday. He loved it!

Ellison also made him some salt dough footprints and a cute handprint card, which he actually got on Father's Day. I was pretty proud of how the footprints turned out since I made them without help! Getting a baby to cooperate with hand/footprint making is not easy. It took us a few tries!

We also made Father's Day cards for all the grandpas and great-grandpas! I am lucky this little girl tolerates all the projects I make her do!

Ellison is getting bigger and learning new things every day. I can't believe she is already 4 months old! We don't have official 4 month stats because her doctor's appointment isn't for a couple more weeks. Between the doctor's schedule and ours, we couldn't get in until July! I did an "unofficial" weight check the other day though and she was 13 pounds!

Ellison LOVES to roll! She has been rolling from her belly to back for awhile, but she has now started rolling from her back to her belly too (although her arm still gets stuck under her sometimes). I can tell she wants to crawl! I don't think it's far away. It's crazy to me how fast she is learning and growing! She is such a good baby - although she still hates bedtime. She cries quite a bit at night, but (almost always) sleeps through the night once she finally goes to bed! We are so lucky!!!

She got like this all by herself!

A few weeks ago she couldn't even bat at these, now she can chew on them!

Oops...foot stuck! Those feet are all over the place!

Ellison has also figured out grabbing. She has learned to grab her feet and loves to grab onto anything that is near her. Mostly she grabs our faces and my hair! But she also grabs toys and can bring them to her mouth, which she loves to do because she is already getting teeth! She is super drooly and loves to chew on her toys and pacifiers.

Let me grab your face!

Feet are fun to grab too!

Ellison is mostly a very happy and smiley little girl! We just love her...she is the BEST! Can't wait to see what she will learn next!
